Working with workmen
It's Sunday again. I am so trying to make it a different day than all the rest, but I surely miss going to Church. Ugh! When will COVID be vanquished?
I'm having a lot of fun with my 8 workmen. They all want to find a husband for me, but I tell them that husbands are too much work at which they howl! Except for Jose and Chano, they are all in their twenties. So Thursday they brought street food, carnitas which consist of a very well, meat off the bone, cooked chicken, tortillas, onions and hot sauces. It was delicious. Friday I bought pizza.Jose comes by every day to check on the work being done, he is very serious about getting everything right. I found a place that sells amazing Talavera tile and it was hard choosing the right ones, but I think it is starting to look even better than I imagined.
I'm meeting more and more of my neighbors who are so friendly and instantly include me in their conversations. Since they are all couples that is nice. I don't think I'll be invited to go out with them since single women are a strange beast to most people, but around here it is fun. I'll have some dinner parties when I have a kitchen again. Although some are Trumpers I am sure just from conversations, but we don't talk politics. There was a snake in Eden after all.
We all sat on our decks and watched the full orange moon come up. The ocean is amazing in full moonlight. I can't believe I am here!
It got hot again today but is cooling off at night. An added bonus, from my bed I can see swaying palms.
I just found out that there is nowhere to buy clothes my size. And I am already tired of my four t-shirts, three shorts, two slacks and a couple of shirts. Although I do spend a lot of my time in one of my three swimsuits. Usually I have the whole pool to myself to do laps and my aerobic exercises.
I'm living very minimally now and I actually have empty drawers in this tiny place. Won't last long.
I want pictures of the first huge snowstorm so I can really enjoy myself. I'll probably have to do something worthwhile here but right now I'm being completely selfish. Last time I moved, I helped build a library. This time I'm going to go slow.

Sounds like you are happy and that makes me happy. From your Trumper sister in law in California Stay well.
